Our processing of personal information is based on one or more of the following legal bases, where applicable: your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our Services.
SMS/Text Messaging Program and A2P 10DLC Compliance
Our SMS/text message program is designed for business-to-business communications with funeral home employees and authorized staff. It is not used for consumer marketing.
How You May Receive Messages
Miraven sends account and call-related texts to funeral home employees and other authorized staff. Recurring text alerts are optional. Staff can enable urgent call alerts during onboarding and call summaries in Profile. Providing a phone number, being added by an employer, or accepting our general terms does not by itself enroll someone in recurring text alerts. Verification codes and app download links are sent when requested. Miraven team members may separately agree to receive messages for internal product testing.
We keep the recipient's phone number, messaging choices, the date and source of those choices, and the version of the consent wording. We also record opt-out and opt-in replies when received from our messaging provider.
Types of Messages
Messages may include:
- Operational or account-related notifications;
- Internal alerts or status updates;
- Scheduling or workflow-related messages;
- Security, authentication, or support-related notifications.
We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages to funeral home customers or the general public through this program.
Opting Out (STOP)
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from our program at any time by replying:
"STOP" to any message you receive from us.
After you send STOP, you may receive one last message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Messages from that program remain blocked until you opt back in. An employer cannot override your opt-out.
Getting Help (HELP)
You can obtain help with our SMS program by replying:
- "HELP" to any message you receive; or
- Contacting us at info@miraven.com or +1 (201) 824-4343.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency will vary based on your employer's use of the Services.
Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. You are responsible for any such charges.
Use and Sharing of Phone Numbers
We use phone numbers solely to provide the Services, including internal communications on behalf of funeral homes. We do not sell or share mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information with service providers only as necessary to deliver and operate the messaging service.

If another entity acquires our Company, operations, or assets (for example, through a merger, acquisition, or sale), personal information may be transferred in connection with that transaction.
